X sources

When a workspace’s owner or an admin turns on X collection, the sparkle.space collector reads the public X accounts your collection managers choose. Your workspace agrees to these rules:

  • Follow only public X accounts your workspace chooses: the accounts of organisations and public figures, for purposes such as news and market monitoring.
  • Do not use X sources to track, profile or investigate private individuals.
  • Do not use X sources to monitor sensitive groups or events, such as unions, activist or advocacy groups, protests, or religious, ethnic or political communities.
  • X sources are not available to government bodies or to anyone acting for one, nor to any organisation whose purpose is surveillance or intelligence gathering.
  • sparkle.space may turn off X collection for a workspace that breaks these rules.
